WILLIE SUCKS HE HORRIBLE. BECAUSE OF HIS EGO HE DID NOT MANAGE IN THE MINORS, WHERE HE MIGHT HAVE LEARNED HOW TO MANAGE. WILLIE HAS TO GO WHEN WILL THE WILPONS SEE THAT OMAR SPENT ALOT OF $$$$$$$ AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED POSITIVE RESULTS. YEAH ALL OF YOU PEA BRAINS CAN SAY THAT THEY WON THE NL EAST LAST YEAR. BIT WHOOPEE, THEY STILL FAILED TO MAKE IT TO THE WS AND WIN. SO NO MATTER IF YOU FINISHED LAST OR LOSE THE WORLD SERIES YOUR TEAM ARE NOT THE WORLD CHAMPS. SO THE METS FAILED LIKE ALL OTHER CLUBS EXCEPT FOR THE CARDS. SO WITH THIS SAID ONCE AGAIN I CROWN WILLIE A LOSER AND HE HAS TO GO!!!!!

Here is what Pea Brain Willie said last night after another miserable loss. Willie on SNY after last nights game the game says “We are right where we wanna be, playing meaningful games late in the season. This is fun, I am having fun!” It is fun WINNING meaningful games late in the season. He must be having fun watching his team look like fools and the Bear News Bears. Watching this team is like watching the Mets teams from 1977-1981. If your a true Met then you would know who their field manger was. Yeah his butt buddy Joe ( Nose Picker) Torre. I guess Willie learned from Joe to manage, if Torre did not have all the talent he has had he would suck too. Look at those teams from 77-81. Getting back to Pea Brain Willie, he lacks enthusiasm, sense of urgency, and he needs to stop making stupid comments after the game and admit he has failed and his team sucks like him.
Keep bleeding blue and orange, if they really cared about their fans they would play with more heart and a bigger burning desire to win.

Uggh. Who can sleep? It’s nearly 4am and I woke up in a cold sweat. It was a nightmare and Rollins, Utley, Burrell, Howard, Rowand, Werth, etc. were all in it.

I thought Willie was managing yesterday’s game pretty well until he went too long with Wagner. I was really hoping that Tom McCarthy was right that maybe Heilman was going to pitch the 9th because that’s when the righties were coming up.

You know I’ve said it before that the one of the biggest differences between baseball today and how it was when I was in my teens is the cult of the closer. Every team must have one and he must get the last out. Why?

Other than Rivera and, maybe, Saito I can’t think of any other “closer” who I see coming into a game and I say “that’s it, it’s over”. So, why are teams playing the game this way? Why not match up and/or use your best guy to get their best guys and then go with the second guy to finish it. You know, like we often saw with Roger McDowell and Jesse Orosco.

Wagner should have been in there in the 8th, but really he’s NEVER been a six out guy. He should have been out of there after the lead-off single in the 9th.

Did you hear Tom McCarthy talking about this? He made a good point about how adrenalin is such a big part of Billy’s game, but that it couldn’t carry him through two innings.
