As baseball junkies, this is our holiday season the Winter Meetings are under way in Nashville and Omar Minaya is making a list and checking it twice (PITCHING,  PITCHING and MORE PITCHING) hoping to find and ace (not likely) or a serviceable middle of the rotation starter (you commentators can call me names all you want but I’d still make a pitch for Ian Snell and now that X is on the block I want Omar to make Snell and X to Flushing happen) for the 2008 Mets.

 

And with the meetings under way in Nashville what a great time to announce a new venture I’m involved in. Starting this Wednesday night December 5^th I will appearing as the Mets Beat Reporter  for SPORTSTALKNY. SPORTSTALKNY is an interactive internet radio program that will have reporters from all the major sports teams here in NYC. After seeing the work that Mark Rosenman is doing with the site I’m very excited to join his team. Hopefully there will be some action shaking at Nashville for us to dissect but even if not I’m sure we will push the right buttons with the sports issues of the day.
