With the Mets needing both offense and a number 1 pitcher(for longer than I care to remember) and Detroit taking care of it in one fell swoop. My guess is that Minaya(whose done a pretty fair job) will overpay for Grade B talent, which is the Mets fall back position once they pull off bidding on the Big catches.
