YYYYYAAAAAAAAWWWWWWNNNNN IS THE MITCHELL REPORT OUT YET?

Can’t wait to read the Mitchell Report so I can use it to line my parakeets cage. Either that or put it in my file cabinet under Who Gives A Shit.

Baseball fans could care less about this report. Fans are so concerned about performance enhancing drugs that they packed major league stadiums like never before wearing $150 uni tops with their favorite players name on them, sitting in $75 to $200 seats sucking down $5 hotdogs and drinking $7 swill made by Anheuser-Busch. If they are real lucky they can go home after root, root rooting for the home team and take their own PED for a night of long lasting passion. What a crock of shit.

As with most of the ways this country is going the Mitchell Report is falls in line with it’s unconstitutional way as they tried getting medical data on players from teams and using scare tactics to get people to testify like Kirk Radomski, the former Mets clubbie who was distributing PED to players. Radomski was looking at doing time but when he pleaded out it was with the stipulation that he work with the Mitchell investigators. So now we sit and wait for the names to come out and you know what it won’t make a goddamn difference to baseball fans. All this does is make the Used Car Salesman beat his chest and demand to be called Kennesaw Mountain Selig and scream “NOT ONLY DID I SCREW THE PLAYERS BUT I MADE $6 BILLION OFF THEIR ENHANCED ASS TOO”. . It gives George Mitchell another notch in his belt and moves him closer to being the U.S. ambassador to Ireland when the new administration takes over. It also gives our bloated congressmen a chance to congratulate themselves for the dog and pony show they foisted on us in their hearings to embarrass the MLBPA and it’s players. I’m sure they will all find a public restroom to party in..

Is anyone surprised that we’re getting overdue and overbudget report that accomplishes nothing from a former member of Congress? At least he’s not on the taxpayer’s dime this time.

Honestly, who gives a shit about this? There are thousands dying in a war over seas and the media brings out this irrelevant crap. Typical

Well said EKS - While I don’t claim to “not care” about the report (i think it’s interesting), I also think we as fans are hypocrites for bashing those who take the PEDs and cheering on guys like McGwire, Sosa during the HR chase, but booing Barroid Bonds (sorry, I do like the names given to these guys) — when CLEARLY Big Mac and Sosa were juicing it. Clearly. Jose Canseco only further proved what we knew all along. If we wanted to true story, we’d have read “Juiced.”
