Anyone else here feel like you wasted hundreds of hours of their life watching a team last year that had no heart and just didn't seem to care? I'll be honest, if they start out slow, I'm not watching them. I'm not a fair weather fan but I will NOT waste my life watching them if they continue to show no life.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('34755','Frank from Jersey','Anyone else here feel like you wasted hundreds of hours of their life watching a team last year that had no heart and just didn\'t seem to care?
"the way this team looks now Omar Minaya looks like he will be a seller and not a buyer come July"

Steve, you really think that??

I think that this coming year, things could go either way but will be better than last year even though most of the guilty suspects are still here. Injuries are going to play the largest role. If we can keep them down to a minimum, we should be o.k. The only thing that the Phils and Braves have that we don't is a real solid 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation. I'd love to have Cole Hamels and Brit Meyers at the top or Hudson and Smoltz. An ailing Petey and a "what the hell happened after the all star break" John Maine doesn't give me that warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

Anyway, I think the theme this year is going to be to play hard all the time and if anyone gets caught doing anything to the contrary, I would hope they get called to the managers office and chewed out. These players better realize that they will go down in history as one of the biggest choke artist teams ever and they better all be focused getting their respect back.

My uncle is a huge Skankee fan and the last few years were great being able to rub in his face about the yankees historic series loss to the sox by getting swept the last 4 games. Thank you Mets for now letting my uncle torture me for the rest of my life because or your pathetic lackadasical effort last year.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('34748','Frank from Jersey','\"the way this team looks now Omar Minaya looks like he will be a seller and not a buyer come July\"\r\n\r\nSteve, you really think that??\r\n\r\nI think that this coming year, things could go either way but will be better than last year even though most of the guilty suspects are still here.
No way this choke job will be behind the Mets entering the season.

After last September and if the Mets are sellers in July, it's possible that Willie will NOT be around THIS September.
