When do you think they will be on sale??
I am sure the NY Mets will be making many $$$$$$ off of these jersey sales. They need to do some PR work and get rid of Jay Horowitz and think out of the box. They need to start getting the Spanish communities to forget about the Yankees. They need to hand out tee shirts in the schools with Reyes, Beltran and Santana’s name.

Good one, Rob. This team’s PR stinks, with the stupid slogans and all. I interviewed Horowitz for a paper in my MBA program in 1994. I guess he figured he had to talk to “common people” like me because it was during the strike. He was curt, rude, and condescending the whole time. How about some fresh ideas, guys??

How about no more slogans and let the play on the field do the talking

is it time to retire Mr. Met?

The slogans have nothing to do with the Mets, they’ve been using advertising agencies to do their annual slogans since the 80s. that said, santana has been a Met for what, all of five seconds…and ALREADY jerseys are being ordered? Hello, what about the two aces they had last year, in Oh Pea and Maine? how come i cannot find a #46 or #33 shirt ANYWHERE!? Meanwhile, I can get Alou #18 shirts everywhere.
