I could never figure out how he managed, so cleverly and quickly, to come up with those signs... the play would be still happening and he would be bringing out a briliant sign. Fitting I suppose that he passes the same year as our old stadium. He was part of the charm for many years. Is there any hope for a Shea future? Red Bulls? Jets? High school, college, and neighborhood league baseball? Concerts? Mayor's Trophy games? Public access ball park? Some combination of the above? It seems wrong to tear it down for Citi Field parking.
