Rick Peterson took a lot of shit from here and elsewhere on the Scott Kazmir deal (I always felt he was thrown under the bus by Jeffy Skill Sets and the front office) when he questioned his mechanicas and felt he was an arm injury to happen. Well, today Kazmir took the mound to pitch in an intra-squad game and felt “discomfort” in his elbow and will now go for an MRI.

One arm injury does not redemption make. it will be interesting to see what happens with Kazmir, though.
I tend to agree with you, a lot of things the Jacket said off the record got repeated to the press, about Kazmir’s mechanics, and how Rick could fix what was wrong with Victor Zambrano in 5 minutes.
If Kaz is in a Mets uni in 07 or 08 we are in the WS in 07 and win the east in 08
