As per Ed (Grey Goose) Coleman the Mets and Red Sox are ready to deal Coco Crisp for Angel Pagan in a deal that makes no sense at all except it kind of validates my earlier post about Carlos Beltran that he will start the season on the DL and Crsip would give the Mets outstanding defensive coverage in CF.

& Mr Crisp is Rather Outstanding in his defence, having seen for myself in Fenway Park & CBB in Philly, home of The Iggles
There is no way I see this trade happening. The Red Sox love Coco even though he didn’t produce the kind of offensive numbers he had with Cleveland. His defense is outstanding though. there is no way they do this for a flash in the pan outfielder that got dropped from the cubs. Unless the Mets are throwing in 1 or 2 other players, no way.
Corvelli can play the cow pasture that’s for sure and of Pagan he is an unproven player I still think that Beltan will not start the season on the 25 man roster but the DL and Fernando Martinez Experience gets a sneak previw
