Jose Reyes could make those people dance
And, maybe, theyd be happy for a while.

Sorry to see Gotay go. He has Melvin Mora written all over him. As for taking questions during the game....why don't they also have the callers answer questions for big cash prizes and vote a met off the team. I think this is a way too chintzy attempt to "spice up the game". It totally breaks the groove. JUST SHOW THE GAME.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('58379','spodekmodek','Sorry to see Gotay go.
Good for Willie! Why would he want to go on the air each week with the 2 biggest dickheads in NY sports? Those morons rejoiced at the collapse and were often surly with him. Willie showed his cojones and told them to go fuck themselves.

Ask anyone who knows me how much I hated signing Glavine. I even hated when he went through his rare few hot streaks. Two years ago I prayed he would not pitch the 175 or whatever amount of inning to kick in his extra year and of course he did make the quota. He is an Atlanta Brave at heart - always was always will be. He was a fish out of water in New York. You cannot take that laid back attitude for important issues with you to NY.

I've watched his entire career including his prime with the Braves, I've read interviews about him and watched over the plate camera's on nightly basis show pitches being as far as a full foot off the outside corner called strikes. IMHO, without that 2' wide home plate, he would have been nothing better than a slightly above average pitcher. Think about what hitters had to go though when they faced him. They knew that they had to protect a home plate twice the size as normal and worry about a devestating change up. Put Glavine in any era from the 80's and earlier and he's a #3 pitcher at best.

O.k., I'm done ranting.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('58307','Frank from Jersey','Ask anyone who knows me how much I hated signing Glavine.
If Glavine's not complaining about QuestTec, then he's complaining about the Mets. I'm glad he's gone, I'm tired of his "I'm the smartest guy in the room" attitude.
