Solid hitter, solid citizen, decent at 1B and 3B with the glove. I never will forgive Torborg for not seeing the guy's value. I think Medicare comes off Thursday. I say he's back on by the Highlander series. These Mets are the real deal when it comes to heartbreakers. Whatever nice winning streak they put together will be followed by an equal losing streak. If they win 8 out of 9, they will surely then go on to lose 9 out of the next 10. I would be completely UNsurprised to see the Giants and Padres each take 2 or 3 from us. I wouldn't even be surprised to see Barry Zito pitch a no hitter against us.
