Popper's article in the Record said Ollie was playing Nintendo just before his start! Hopefully Ollie put down the Wii long enough to see a real HOFer pitch last night!

I wish Ollie had some options left to go down to New Orleans.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('68449','JRJ','Popper\'s article in the Record said Ollie was playing Nintendo just before his start!
Pedro told Ed Coleman that on the flight west, he and Ollie didn't talk much. Perez was too busy playing with his Nintendo.

That about sums up Perez, no?
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('68435','Eagle','Pedro told Ed Coleman that on the flight west, he and Ollie didn\'t talk much.
Oh yeah, HAHAHAHA Scott Bor-ass. You're right, Steve, you know after last year of OPerez he saw $$$$ in free agency. I just love when he gets screwed but when the day is over, he's still laughing at the little people like me. He still lives in a mansion, driving Lexus' and eating caviar.

Sad thing is about Perez is even though he's probably gonna go something like 10-15 with a 5.00 ERA, he will still get a 4 year $40mil contract from someone.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('68321','Frank from Jersey','Oh yeah, HAHAHAHA Scott Bor-ass.
First, about the Mets, I'm not going to say I told you so but my prediction is already coming through with the Mets losing 10-2 against a woeful Giants club. Again, I hope I'm wrong and I can't wait to see Pedro pitch tonight.

A quality start is 6 ip and 3 runs or less. Pretty sad in baseball today when a 4.50 ERA is considered "quality".

Lastly, about the Celtics and Lakers venom: I admit I don't follow basketball on any level although I think college basketball blows the NBA away but were any of the current players on these 2 teams even alive when there was a rivalry? Maybe I'm just an old fart but Pro sports just don't seem the same anymore. There is nothing exciting about boxing any more, same with tennis (where are you Bjorn and Conners?). Football is Patriots and everyone else, baseball is a bunch of cry baby over paid prima donnas etc etc. There are no more REAL rivalries like the Yankees and Dodgers or the Lakers and Celtics IMHO. Players today don't even admit there is a rivalry. I'm going off on another tangent, so I'll quit ranting now. I love my job I love my job etc etc
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('68319','Frank from Jersey','First, about the Mets, I\'m not going to say I told you so but my prediction is already coming through with the Mets losing 10-2 against a woeful Giants club.
