Whatever happened to FMart? I see he's still in AA, hitting around .280. When do we expect him to make an impact at MLB level?
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('69516','Gary','Whatever happened to FMart?
Yes, the Mets are a mediocre team. In a fantasy world Duque, Pedro, Alou, Delgado are all playing up to the memories Omar had of them. But without these guys producing and only 2 good starters the results have been predictable. Still, the ability to hit in the clutch would cover up most of the problems that the Mets have.

I am very ready for bringing in young-uns to play with the Mets. Hell, let em rotate into Shea. We can watch the "stars of tomorrow" instead of the washouts of today. Hard to fault Omar for wanting to win now and trading young talent for established players, but Think about an outfield of Milledge, Gomez, etc. Not mature, but entertaining, no?
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('69429','spo','Yes, the Mets are a mediocre team.
