I'm 44, and I've never said that before. When would lose 100 in a season, when they traded Seaver, I never said it. Today, and I'm sure many of you feel the same way, I'm embarrassed. My daughter asked why no Mets were out on the tarp. I said they have no "manhood", they'd be afraid of getting booed. The fact they waited until almost 9 to call it was, well, disturbing. Almost as much as the play on the field. Also, the more it lingers, I think more and more people will come around to defending Willie.
