Don't take the losses so hard, Frank. Even with everything that has gone donw, the Mets are only 2 behind Phillie in the Loss column!

And with J-Gansta at the helm, watch these guys perform now.

If they wind up losing, ok, we've been there before. But it is baseball season, gotta love it.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('71415','David in Manhattan','Don\'t take the losses so hard, Frank.
Not that I have any objection to Mike and the Mad Dog hate, but why would it be a "treat" to have them off the air? Have they been pumped into your ears forcibly for the last 19 years? Radios don't have dials and off switches anymore? I like 101.9 FM myself. Not a bad new station, really, if you like that kind of music. When Russo starts talking about tennis or whatever that's exactly where I go.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('71404','James Allen','Not that I have any objection to Mike and the Mad Dog hate, but why would it be a \"treat\" to have them off the air?
If what you're saying is true about MMD, I can once again listen to WFAN in the afternoon. Having those two off the air will be a long-awaited treat. They are dreadful, plain and simple.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('71374','Rich','If what you\'re saying is true about MMD, I can once again listen to WFAN in the afternoon.
If Omar is going to go for an infieder he should go balls out for Counsell in Milawaukee. I know Weeks is still hurt and the Brewers may want to hold on to him, but he plays 2b, 3b and ss well and has post-season experience. He would fit perfectly spelling Castillo, as well as a spot start in place of Davey and Jose.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('71371','TW','If Omar is going to go for an infieder he should go balls out for Counsell in Milawaukee.
Off topic post right now because I haven't been able to get on the internet the last few days.

First, I just want to say that I still have not watched a Mets game in at least 2 weeks, probably closer to 3 weeks. They really put me over the edge and I am finding it difficult to even go to espn.com anymore. This team has really hurt my psyche regarding baseball. I guess I had such high hopes and they slapped all of us in the face. I just feel that the moment I turn on a game now, it's going to go to shit. We just played in Colorado didn't we and we scored 4 runs in the last 2 games in the thin air?? Still pathetic. Didn't we lose to a 1-7 pitcher? Am I supposed to be excited yet? This team turned me into something I HATE - a fair weather fan. I can't believe i just said that. I guess I have so much stress at work and with my marriage and my health that I don't need to sit at home and let the mets raise my blood pressure even more.

Changing the subject. Steve, could you add a forum to your site so peeps could talk about stuff a little better? There's probably a reason you have not done that already but it would be nice. I don't like the one at Mets.com, seems like to many immature kids there. Just a thought. Thanks :)
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('71363','Frank from Jersey','Off topic post right now because I haven\'t been able to get on the internet the last few days. \r\n\r\nFirst, I just want to say that I still have not watched a Mets game in at least 2 weeks, probably closer to 3 weeks.
