He knows it would be a major blow to the team to trade him during a three team pennant race and he knows there is no way that Red Sox can get anyone close to do what he does with the bat. So he flaunts it in their faces. Last night he and Big Papi failed to hustle on a double play grouder hit by Manny I mean he really dogged it I felt so bad for Francona as what can he do. He's too much of a hitter to pass up. He'd be re-united with Pedro, and I think he'd put up killer numbers for 2 months. Happy 50th, and enjoy the Cape and Fenway. My 45th is next week, and I'm taking my daughter to Wrigley and U.S. Cellular. A few thoughts: Be thankful you're not watching, you get a break from Giuseppe Franco. Keith and Gary are complaining about the small booth in Florida. Ask a Sox fan if they'll take Schoeneweis for Manny. Rumor has it Scotty can be dealt. At least you can share a laugh with them.
