A few Old Styles and a brautwurst loaded with mustard. We were in GA and sat under the huge manual scoreboard in center to get out of the blazing sun. Yes, I walked down the ramps to a trough. Didn't people have any self respect in 1916? Why was it ok to piss in a trough?

We need brauts at Shea. Only thing the NY area lacks, a good braut.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('100806','Rich','A few Old Styles and a brautwurst loaded with mustard.
Rich,

Your daughter is right about Wrigley as I thought that Shea had no bathrooms but I remember sitting in the RF bleachers when I was there and having to trek down to the concourse of the park to take a leak, in a trough no less. I like the Cell as well very different from Wrigley but a nice place none the less. Chicago is a great city to visit. Rich, how many Old Style's did you have LOL

Frank, you know, I know, we all know that Aaron Heilman is a starter but for whatever reason the Mets don't know it but I think if Dean of Old School Warthen has any say, Heilman will be in th eroation next year Just a hunch!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('100772','kranepool','Rich,\r\n\r\nYour daughter is right about Wrigley as I thought that Shea had no bathrooms but I remember sitting in the RF bleachers when I was there and having to trek down to the concourse of the park to take a leak, in a trough no less.
He now throws a slider so he finally has 3 pitches so why the hell can't they just sign him and tell him that he is their #4 starter next year???? He has great stuff and other teams have always liked him in the past. I simply do NOT understand why the Mets won't give him that chance. He's going to walk after this year obviously and that will be that.

I'm sticking up for him even though he makes my asshole pucker every time they bring him in now because I still feel this guy can be a solid starting pitcher and they never let him. I've seen him come in games and be litterally unhittable. He needs to get his head in the right place and the Mets won't let that happen.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('100767','Frank from Jersey','He now throws a slider so he finally has 3 pitches so why the hell can\'t they just sign him and tell him that he is their #4 starter next year????
Did the game today really help you get through your first day back? My guess is that it put you (like it did to me) over the top. I was fucking furious and closed my office door and glared at anyone who came near. This sounds crazy, but I'd DFA Heilman right now. He looks intimidated and scared, and when not these, he looks miserable. He adds no value at this point, and he's going to sign elsewhere the minute he can. Yes, I'd make him a starter, but they never will, so DFA him and change the mix in the pen. This can't fucking continue one more day.

My daughter and I went to Chicago last week, Wrigley and US Cellular. She says Wrigley does not have enough bathrooms and is too cramped (Steve, I feel your pain with 15 year olds). She loved US Cellular, which is very fan friendly. Says she wishes she were a ChiSox fan, since they wear black and promote the bad-ass gangsta attitude with everything they do. Our team just promotes misery.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('100202','Rich','Did the game today really help you get through your first day back?
