Mookie is sour grapes??? How dare him wear the Cards jacket at Shea during the playoffs??? He is probably sour grapes that JOSE is going break all of his team leading records. The hell with MOOKIE as long as Lenny is there let mookie go climb a tree and get some grapes.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('110060','rob','Mookie is sour grapes???
If that trio don't show at Shea they will regret it the rest of their lives.
Reply - Quote

I never would have thought Del-Gotta-go would have turned into Del-God-o !! There is more than meets the eye here. He didn't just get healthy all of a sudden once Randolf was fired.

I wish Davey Johnson would come back to shea. i wish Mookie would too and Doc as well. Mookie was one of (if not the most) loved met ever. I know Davey would get a roar from the fans. As far as Doc goes, he put Met fans through the ringer with his drugs and injuries and we stuck with him through thick and thin. I will still never forget the day he first came back from his drug rehab and pitched relief. As he walked from the bullpen to teh mound, they say shea was never louder before or since. They kept showing camera views of the players in the dugout and they had looks of amazement on their face as Shea went into a frenzy to have Doc back. I've never seen such love for a player ever. How dare he turn his back on the fans, very disappointing.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('110047','Frank from Jersey','I never would have thought Del-Gotta-go would have turned into Del-God-o !!
