Mets are dead. Why waste your emotion on this bunch? They don’t care about you.
But look at the bright side – you man ofirmative will fix it all, just like he did in the Winter of 2006 and the Winter of 2007. Right? The guy you all are so happy to see resigned for FOUR MORE YEARS?

If you persist in supporting ofirmative the fraud, you deserve all the agony the Mets have in store for you over the next four years, beginning with this year’s free agent signings: Julian Javier, age 82 at 2B; Tito Fuentes, age 106, backup infielder; and Scipio Spinks, age 91, setup man.
Sorry man – not trying to rub it in. I’m a Met fan from birth and am also in agony, but I want Met fans to get angry and boycott this mess. The lovable loser era ended long ago. Start letting Jeff and Fred know that we won’t pay for this shit any more. And for god’s sake, stop letting political correctness prevent you from seeing the damage that ofirmative has done by turning our beloved franchise into a Social Security For Washed Up Hispanic Ballplayers.

BTW – speaking of soon to be replaced ballparks, my best ever memory at Highlander Stadium is also the last time I visited there – June 1985, when Tom Terrific won his 300th game. The place was filled with Mets fans, and the chant of Let’s Go Mets must have echoed through Steinbrenner’s mind for days!!!
