Mike Silva posted a story today about Bloviator Francesa claiming he heard on good authority the Ryan Church wants out of New York and off the Mets. I heard BF says this yesterday as well and it contradicts the stories that were written when Church was convalescing from his concussion that his wife was very moved by the generosity and good wishes by the team and the fans toward her husband to the point that Church had said he wanted to sign a long term deal here. So I guess with his show going down the toilet Happy Fleton Francesa is have hallucinations.

I have no insight whatsoever into this - ie, dont’ have any basis for calling true or untrue.
However, I have wondered how many Mets don’t like playing for this team. The more I read about the nastiness of Tony B and the more I consider how the team obviously quit on Randolph, the more I wonder how someone could like playing in that environment.
How would you like going to work every day in a nasty, political office of a company that sucks and is losing share to competitors?
How would you like it if The Boss (Omar) kept bringing in cronies (in this case, washed-up Hispanics) who are immediately loyal to him because no one else would give them a job, much less one on sweet terms (Castillo….)
I often wonder if David Wright and J Reyes will eventually wander into F Skill Sets’ office (not Omar, not Jeffy) and say thanks, but please get me out of here. D Wright probably dreams of playing for the Bosox or Cubs…maybe Dodgers. But this mess?
So - have no clue re Ryan Church, but why would Wright and Santana, among others, want to stay in this losers’ cauldron.
At least the ‘77 Yankees won while having a nasty clubhouse.
