As loyal watchers of Mets baseball on State controlled Skill Sets Television Network we hear Keith Hernandez talk all the time about executing the fundimentals of baseball “The Fundies” as he calls them like hitting the cut off man, going from first to third, hitting the other way etc. and Mex preaches this as a diciple of the ledgendary St. Louis Cardinals coach George Kissell. Kissell died last night in Florida from injuries sustained in a traffic accident which to make thing worse was caused by his daughter running a red light. Condolences to the Kissell family.
