So many reasons to like them. The way they play ball, the great 'story', and the Mets connection as you mention. But, as the series went on I found myself hating that ball park more and more. I just can't stand indoor, artificial turf stadiums. And for completely superficial reasons I wanted the World Series to be played at Fenway rather than Tampa.
