…………..AND THEN IT WAS GONE…………….

I had car issues and computer issues today so I’m not in any kind of mood to write but Joe McDonlad has a video of the last piece of Shea Stadium to bite the dust. Shea Stadium is no more. Let that swril around your brain for awhile. The Shea Stadium Era is done. Rest in Peace Shea.

Don’t for get tomorrow night PRO BASEBALL CENTRAL at 9PM EST with our guests Paul Coutinho  of ESPN1050 Radio and Martin Gandy of Talking-Chop.

  1. Please tell me – please – was omar sitting at his (shea) desk when they blew it up?

    No?

    Bummer.

  2. Marvin Lesman says:

Enough of the Shea Stadium nostalgia already… the place was always a dump…a cookie-cutter cheaply built stadium….Yes, the wonderful memories are nice..but the Stadium itself???… A charmless blight…I hope that BankruptCiti Field lives up to all expectations and that the Wimpons actually field great teams so that 20 years from now the fans can say…now that is a ballpark
