When that criminal asshole Bernie Madoff stole $300 million from the Wilpon’s, it was enough to force the Skill Sets crowd to sit on their hands and watch the Dodgers sign this Hall of Fame-bound, New York City kid. Imagine the Mets, the World’s Team, walking into Citi Field with a team led by so many top-shelf players…Dominicans Manny and José, Venezuelans Santana and F-Rod, Puerto Ricans Beltran and Delgado (and maybe Pudge), Mexican Oliver Perez, Americans David Wright, Putz, Maine, Pelfry, Church, J-Man, etc. Luckily, we will have all the rest of those players marching into the new ball park…not too shabby!

I am pretty sure the Wilpon’s would have laid the money on the table if not for the disgusting Bernie Madoff.

Even without Manny this team can win it all, but it will have to earn it game after game on the field, night after night. Let’s Go Mets!
