    They would go perfect with the Dodger…oops white Mets uniforms.

    My other half had a very long and very intense conversation with Charlie at BP at Fenway. You would be surprised by most of it – but since he wasn’t speaking on the record, I’m not going to print it anywhere.

    It does seem that we have the players to blame for the black jerseys, I do feel comfortable repeating.

    Based on the rest of the conversation, my curmudgeon, classic pinstripes boyfriend had to take back a lot of his previously-directed vitriol at Mr. Samuels.

    @Caryn

    Caryn, what’s next that Jeffey Skill Sets really cares about his paying customers?

    It has been rumored that the days starting pitcher picks the uni

    by the way, what is wrong with being a classic pinstriped curmudgeon?

    Caryn,

    The players may like the black, and I have heard that before, but the fact of the matter is, they never should have had them in the first place. As for Mr. Crumudgeon, I am in the same camp as he is. Though I have never blamed Mr. Samuels, I blame the organization (ownership & marketing). I am waiting for the Dodgers to file for copyright infringments. I want to se the Mets wear METS uniforms, not Dodgers, or cater to the “hip/rap” crowd.

    Side note, I gave the GM a lot of crap about the roster this past week, and deservedly so…but you have to give credit for Sheffield. Amazingly this team would be in trouble without him.
