I’m off to $iti Field today for the Mets-Reds and a seat in the Pepsi Porch section and I was all fired up for the trip until I read Adam Rubin’s State of the Mets story and I nealry choked on my everything bagel.

After reading the article it looks like a few people need to get a pink slip and I am ever so closely looking at the seating availability on the FIRE OMAR bandwagon. I’m not ready to but a ticket on the band waggon just yet but it’s clear there needs to be a purge of some front office employees in this organization.

Also in the aarticle Rubin shines some light on the medical issues that plague this team and it seems our anger toward the doctors is misguided as it should be pointed at the Omar, Tony B and the trainers.

  1. You’re welcome on the “Fire Omar” bandwagon anytime. I like to consider myself the driver. I wonder if Jeffy prompted the Rubin article to set the mood for the evetual firing of Omar. FROM MY KEYBOARD TO GOD’S EARS!!! Please, get him out NOW!!!

Don’t fire Omar until Tony B and Jerry M have been gone for a season. Tony B is the biggest A-Hole in baseball according to many, many sources and the Wilpons listen to him as much as Omar. Give Omar the free hand you said he was getting.

Manuel is an awful manager…simply awful. Get us a good, youngish, hard working manager. Rudy Jarimillo from Tezas would be fine. Been in the game for a while and every player seems to like and respect him.

Then and only then, if the failure continues then we fire Omar.

    Also, get me Alex Rios!

You will eventually get on the wagon.

Then we’ll spend the next two years getting you on the Fred-and-Jeff-must-sell-the-Mets wagon.

Purging Somar Sotominaya and Iago Bernazard will not fix things if the next GM is in the Phillips/Sotominaya mold (read: addicted to overpaying for over the hill free agents.)

The ultimate solution for which me must all agitate or at least pray is that the deRoudolans sell.
