Like I wrote in February on this blog, Livan ate innings last year to a 6 ERA. And why did anyone think the same would not happen this year...? Would you rather have Petey or Livan out there every 5th day? No brainer, give me Petey. The script is now written, kids. Omar will stay (FML-like the teens say). Jerry will go and Manny Acta will be the manager. You all know it is going to happen. The Phils offered him a job and the Mets didn't. You would do the same thing in your profession. Anyway, he is going to get lit up like a Christmas tree, so you should be happy.
