I’m on my way back to NYC (sitting in Orlando Intl Airport as I type this as our flight is delayed 1 hour) so I’m reading some of the Mets stories and some e mails I recieved from fans (thank you Steve Mittleman) who were in SD over the weekend and the concensus is the boys from Flushing are mailing it in.
 There is nothing worse in sports than being called a quitter, remeber back to Keith Hernandez call the club that a few years ago and Mike Piazza jumping on him, so to say tha this team are a bunch on quitters is serious and one I won’t make until I see the team in action this week.
I’ll say this as Ihave to leave and board my flight. Ozzie Gullien is my hero and we cave men have to stick together.

How does irrelevance feel?, babe?
I’d love to have Ozzie Guillen. You know what, if they want to make a change at manager, I’d even take Bowa. Time to change the mix to a fiery type.
Michael, your $240MM boys have not won anything yet. May be a bit too early to chirp.
@Rich –
Agreed they haven’t won anything. Some vital lessons were learned in 2004, 2007 and 2008.
Bring in a man who can coach a team of children. Unfortunately that is what the Mets have become…over privileged children. One man to corretc it. Bobby V.
Michael no time to be the Cock of the Walk yet remember Peacock today, feather duster tomorrow oh and GO ANGELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Michael, at least you’re a reasonable Highlanger fan. I get the 07 and 08 Mets references, but I give you credit for the 2004 part. Most Highlander fans don’t acknowledge that.
Bobby V!!!! May it be so! I’ll wear a fake mustache every day until he’s hired.
And, by the way Michael, it ain’t over til the fat Toad sings. Let’s see where the Cranks sit in Oct.
