GOOD TIDINGS TO YOU NO, NOT YOU JEFF

I’m running out the door to spread some Christmas cheer but before I do, a moment please:

What does your Dickey do? Mine throws a knuckleball

Hello? Where have you been hearing that the Mets should get David DeJesus and Gil Meche? Hello? Is this thing on?

Fork please! Carlos Delgado is as done as a Christmas goose.

When it comes to Assclowns nobody beats Highlander fans. Some of these geniuses have been calling WFAN or Twittering that they hate the deal that brought Javier Vasquez to the Highlanders for Melkey Cabrea and a couple of bush leaguers. Sometimes Highlander fans your stupidity is breath taking.

Thank you Mike Vaccaro, thank you for a wonderful column this morning.

Why do I get the sad feeling that we will see more Red Sox stories in the fish wraps this summer than Mets news?

    Happy Holidays Babe,

First of all, I don’t really give a rats ass what other fans of the WORLD CHAMPIONS think about the Vasquez deal. Some of the biggest stat loving fools post regularly on Yankee sites which is why I enjoy coming here. While I’m happy to compare teams, I don’t compare fans. Because if I did, I’D BE HAPPY TO REMIND ALL OF YOU SHAKE SHACKERS HOW WRONG YOU ALL WERE GLOATING ABOUT THE LEFT SIDE OF YOUR INFIELD A FEW YEARS AGO!!!!!

Yankee Dude: we’re glad to have you slumming with us. Your Xmas present is a how-to book on the DL. What with Nicked up Johnson and the Ancient Mariner at SS and a head case at 3B, you’ll be using quite a lot. Hope your boys aren’t getting fat on the Rubber Chicken Circut.

    I appeciate your sentiments Peter.

The WORLD CHAMPIONS had very good health last year. As you know better than I injuries can wreck a team, a season, an organization, and the support of their loyal followers!

And one more question from my side of the bridge.

While Shake Shackers grow more restless by the day where is Mr. Jose Lupica?

Yankee Dude: Why just look on the bright side. Sure, maybe you got lucky some of those years and squeaked by with a win, but!, you guys have LOST the most WS in history. Admit it, the Yankees are the biggest LOSERS ever. LOSERS, LOSERS, LOSERS (Ho Ho).

The Times article today on the Highlanders getting Vasquez talks about 10/20/04. The day Damon hit two HRs off Vasquez, including a GS, as the Sox completed the 3-0 deficit to a series win. What a glorious day that was. Yes, we have collapsed, but that was EPIC. It had never been done before. i remember watching the blank looks on Jeter’s face, and A-Rod’s face, as the Sox marched toward victory. I just sat there with my wife (who just liked looking at Damon and did not know a baseball from a tennis ball) and laughed. It was all I could do. Ah, that collapse is one we must never let them forget. I hear most Highlander fands have removed the “B” key from their computers, is this true?

    @Rich

Happy Holidays Rich to you and your fine little family. (The fine little family reference is from Big Stein as he said goodbye to Buck Showalter)

My computer has a B. I use it when I remember Blown NL East divisional leads in 2007 and 2008!

Yeh why are we talking about the Yankees who cares about the Yankees. I am not sure how you root for a team that lets it WS MVP walk….I could care less about the Yanks lets talk about the Mets that is what we are supposed to do here. I am not going to go through all the embarassment that other organization went through for the 80′s and early 90′s. Those days in Yankee land actually make the Wilpons look line geniuses. And do we need to have a discussion about how the great Yankee organization looses money every year? So Yankee fans go find something to do. It amazes me how the Mets interest you so much.

Happy Holidays, Michael, and to all. Blown NL east leads, most certainly. However, I have two words for you..
