“Let me add my voice to the “Bring David Cone to SNY” campaign. Talk about your no-brainers. Coney in studio and as a back up to Mex and Ron Darling is a perfect fit. In fact how about letting Gary Cohen get a day off or two and put Mex, Darling and Coney to do the play by play. Com’on SNY this one is on a platter for you guys.”

I think his Yankee years were punctuated by popping Piazza up in Game 4.

What do the Shake Shackers think?

If my Jets can make the playoffs, so can my Mets. Bay could be a Blue Collar guy. I'll give him a chance to see what he can do. Omar likes the Big Splash- go get Carlos Z from the Cubs. With Jose and Beltran coming back, we're better. How excited would we be if we had just signed those two new to the team? Do you think Goodell will fine the Jets for resting their Defense (TOP)?
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('157454','peter','If my Jets can make the playoffs, so can my Mets.
The Giants killed me. To be handed this, after the season the Mets had. Just goes to show in today's pass happy league, don't show up if you don't have a good secondary -- and good safeties in particular. There was a lot that went wrong with the Giants this year, but safety play has to top the list. Receivers were wide open all the time, as the zone coverage broke down and everyone in blue looked confused and in the wrong place. Tight ends feasted on them all season.

The Rangers and Mets will suck. (I wish I rooted for the Celtics or cared about the NBA.) There is no hope.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('157453','George the Stork','The Giants killed me.
