Murphy deserves a chance. The kid can hit. He's had a grand total of one year in the bigs. The WORST thing the Mets can do is stunt his growth by bringing back a crippled Delgado and then trading Murphy mid season. Why do I write this? Because it is exactly what I think and fear they will do. Then he'll hit .300 with 20 hr's somewhere else. All Jeffey should do is give the GM a budget and let him use it to his best ability.
