My favorite part was when KB asked him about the Beltran thing. "There was no problem with beltran, the problem was with the process, not Beltran's process, but the process, it was the problem, not the process wasn't the problem." What?? I love when asked about adding pitching, speed, and defense this off season. He said "we've added outfield defense. We added Pagan and Francoeur". Well, I must be on crack. Weren't those guys there last year? Then he said we have to let 2009 go, and have hope. OK, so the Braves and Phillies have better players, nad we have "hope". Oh, yeah, we also have Omar. Cleon Jones' rookie card is a pretty nice card to have, and probably worth something. My mom threw out all my baseball cards in a spring cleaning (along with my matchbox and hot wheels cars). I had a Willie Mays from 1964 and a Pete Rose rookie card. My favorites were the 1972 cards that looked like they were designed by Sly and the Family Stone. As for the current club, I'm expecting last place. As for Murphy, I am with you 1000% percent. I, as an ASU alum, want to see a Sun Devil on the Mets (Ike Davis), the Mets do not have enough gym rats on this team, and might not have more than three...so I am with you, I am pulling hard for Murphy. Guys like Marquis, & Washburn who historically threw 200 innings a year are out there, (or were) and the Mets, if they did not want to pay Lackey had no interest in these guys? Unlike you, I am not don't ranting.
