Probably won’t miss a single game. I voted I ‘love the beautiful game,’ but I’d rather watch baseball, hockey and basketball than soccer. Maybe football too, but I’m not as keen on football.
Oh, and Steve, what alternate team will you support seeing as your ancestral team got the Andres Galarraga treatment last November against France?
Eagle, I’m still reeling from Ireland getting the shaft against France but I am very excited for the World Cup and will rooting hard for Team USA to beat the Brits on Saturday
Also it’s beyond belief that WFAN has not had anyone on air or as a guest to discuss the World Cup I mean we are in NYC where every team in the WC has fans living here.
I can’t listen to WFAN anymore, other than the actual Met games (& Mets Extra). I know the World Cup is big, but there are so many big sports stories over there at the moment with the Stanley Cup, NBA Finals, baseball, Strasburg, Lebron, etc.
