If there was ever a time that the NY Mets organization needed someone like Howard Megdal, it’s now. A Megdal Administration would be the antithesis of the current stumble bums now running our favorite baseball team into the ground. Howard is running on a platform of LOGIC, TRANSPARENCY, PASSION and oh how the Mets need an infusion of all three.
Please vote now for Howard Megdal for GM and join Howard and myself on THIS CALL TO THE BULLPEN on BLOG TALK RADIO tomorrow night at 10PM ET, as we discuss the present day Mets and Howard’s blueprint of fixing the total Mets organization

Anyone but the current guy. They are out of it, and the only reason to watch is the kids, so now all of these guys have been brought up here to platoon? Really? Martinez on the bench every day, how does that help? I know he has been struggling, but Hessman over Ike, really? At least if they did that with Nick Evans, I can kind of understand it. I know you can’t catch every day, but shouldn’t Thole see some left handed pitching? And the genius that is Jerry Manuel, every one knows that Thole has to work onhis catching, so after the Mets got the lead last night, THAT’S when Manuel decides to take his best defensive catcher out of the game? Really? What a joke this franchise is. When will the ownership (and I have just answered my own question, already) go to the Twins, write the assistant GM a blank check and say go and set us up like the Twins, a team that wins every year and has “no resources”. The Twins do everythign the right way, and they win every year, playoffs or not. Two managers over the last thirty years, because they play the right way or they do not play. But that will never happen, because the former Twins exec can tel the Wilpons, “why are you saying no to this? How many winning seasons or non embarrassing seasons have you had around here? And they would have shut up and leave him alone.
See, I can rant when the Mets win.
Sorry for the horrible typing.
