A lot of interesting and good players on this list…but George Theodore? Really??? He was terrible! How about Rick Reed, who pitched very well for us, great control and low ERAs at the height of the steroid age.

What can I say I have a soft spot for The Stork. Rick Reed just missed the cut. If it were 51 top Mets of all time Reed would have been #51
I’d throw in Joe McEwing as # 51 just in case any of the top 50 got hurt Super Joe could fill in for them.
