Sorry for no Mets post today but really there is nothing more to say until spring training games start tomorrow (today’s choose up game in St Lonesome doesn’t cut it for me) plus one of my favorite Boston Celtics players, Kendrick Perkins was traded to Oklahoma City in a shocking move that stunned fans and Celtic players alike.

I won’t get into the why’s and where’s of the deal but like Sandy Alderson with the Mets, I put alot of trust in C’s VP Danny Anige but Celtic fans won’t know if this moved pays off until June. Only capturing Banner 18 will heal this wound.

Thank you Perk and good luck with the Thunder

  1. I’m a Knicks fan so take this for what it’s worth but I have to believe this move has very little to do with on-the-court and everything to do with the uncertain future salary cap situation and Perk’s injury issues.

  2. Gutted Perks Gone, absolutely love the guy, wish him well too, Rondo tweeted last night about it ( least i kinda recall reading it in bed in a fairly hazy state ) Now i know it wasn’t a dream. I am a little happier that he joined OKCT, i have a soft spot for them a little, i can’t really root for them but i grew up a Sonics fan as i think i might have told you once before? he gets to play with some pretty decent players and the stud that is Kevin Durant! Will he one day be a Celtic? A girl can dream…..
